Idea 11: Tour First Place

We offer the First Look Tour every Friday at 11am. Every tour can hold up to 12 people and features the following individuals:
  • A Parent who is former or current client telling their story and how First Place is changing their life.
  • Dr. Doreen Cato, Executive Director & a Board Member speaking about the agency from a leadership perspective.
  • A visit to our Clothing Bank, Library and a Classroom.
This is what a recent tour guest had to say:
"The caring and intelligent mission of First Place School is evident upon arriving for a tour. To tour First Place School is to see a brilliant intersection of social services, child-centered education, and advocacy. A carefully coordinated program offers support, incentive, and inspiration all under an umbrella of compassion and hope. Be forewarned, your heart will be stolen."
~Ellen Daffron

This tour is perfect for so many different types of people. Here are a few examples of who has been touring with us lately:

*Groups--such as a book club or church--who are doing a donation drive.

*Corporate sponsors & foundation representatives who want to view in person what their donation is accomplishing.

*Individuals who want to volunteer and learn more about all of our programs.

*Long-time donors who haven’t seen our new Early Learning Center.

*Table Captains from our Annual Fundraising Breakfast who want to learn more and get info to pass along to their event guests.

If you support First Place, we would be honored to show you exactly where your dollars go.

The First Look Tour is every Friday at 11am and does require a reservation. To sign-up email tours@firstplaceschool.org or call Lisa Foss 206 323 6715.

We can also accommodate groups and alternative tour times. Give us a call to make arrangements.

Thank you for all of your support of our programs thus far. And remember to check back for daily updates and ideas! If you have any questions about the Idea a Day postings, please email Melissa Collett, Marketing & Events Manager.
